June’s Lightovation is also home to the 4th
Annual Market Choice Awards, which honors
new products that are introduced in June in
six categories: Bath Lighting, Ceiling Fans, Chandeliers & Pendants, Outdoor, Portable Lamps and a new category for Technology. Winners will be announced on Thursday, June 22. This summer, for the first time, a commemorative book will be published that features all of the entries. This book, which can be picked up at the market, serves as a guide for voting and to new products introduced at the show.
LIGHT STARS
Light Stars allows stores and their partners to nominate showroom  oor personnel to attend market if they’ve never been before. This summer, Light Stars will feature the largest group of attending retailers ever. The program is designed to enhance personnel perspective and enthusiasm for the lighting industry. Thousands of nominations were received this year, and 200 participants have been invited to attend. That’s almost 10 times more attendees from just two years ago!
