P ulling into the parking lot of Kuhl-Linscomb, a lifestyle retail staple in the Upper Kirby section of Houston, at  rst glance, this is
a traditional independent retailer. However,  rst impressions can be deceiving, because once inside, Kuhl-Linscomb o ers a scale that couldn’t possibly be imagined by a passerby.
According to Pam Kuhl-Linscomb and Dan Linscomb, owners of this ever-expanding retail establishment, diversity was all part of the plan. This is a shop that carries a vast array of lifestyle categories and brands. “Because of the range
of products, customers can  nd something that re ects their individuality, but also the quality that accompanies the many emerging and historical luxury brands we carry,” said Pam. “We continue to bring new and highly coveted brands to Houston that are otherwise unavailable locally, regionally or in the U.S. at all.”
The  rst clue to this retailer’s depth and breadth are the two entrances, one on West Alabama St. and one on Argonne St. The primary building inhabits

The West Alabama St. entrance brings shoppers in
to zen-like gift, home fragrance, beauty and fashion departments, while the Argonne St. entrance is dedicated to baby and children, stationery, travel and garden departments.
